My name is Samantha Lima and I am an art educator with 5 years experience in the 6-12 public and charter school settings. 

My art journey started when I was a middle school student who had teachers that changed my life.  My art teacher taught me to be creative, solve problems with different resources, and love education and the pursuit of knowledge.   With these principles and the desire to do the same good that they did, I chose to become an educator in the subject I was most passionate about - Art! 

I have spent years learning, teaching, and perfecting my crafts to become the most effective and understanding teacher I can be.  My goal in education is to teach and make a lasting impact with the knowledge that will stick for future artists and critical thinkers alike. 

I have taught a variety of classes in secondary schools from grades 5 to 12 and have had incredible experiences in my 5 years in the education field including participating in national competitions, building programs that I have treasured, and most of all meeting and inspiring each artist that I have the privilege to meet.

 I love teaching and it loves me right back.   This website with give a quick insight to what young artist can produce and create in my class as well as provide example lesson plans and curricula that I have designed and implemented in my experience.
